Vespel is one of the highest performing engineering plastics currently available. It has excellent thermal properties, allowing it to maintain its mechanical and wear properties in extreme temperatures. It has excellent weather and gamma radiation resistance, good chemical resistance, very good electrical values and maintains a high proportion of its mechanical properties from cryogenic to over 260°C.
