Nylon PA6 is a tough, nylon-based plastic. Its properties include high absorption of moisture (up to 3% in standard atmosphere), high abrasion resistance and high mechanical/impact strength. As well as this, Nylon PA6 offers excellent machinability, very good absorption of noise and vibration, very good sliding properties, and weldability and adhesive characteristics.
