ETFE

Overview

ETFE is a fluoropolymer which is adaptable to many applications. That's because of its excellent chemical resistance, high purity, good permeability resistance and excellent abrasion resistance. Furthermore, this is all within a wide-ranging operating temperature range of -185°C to +150°C.

Typical areas of application include:

  • Tank construction and linings
  • Wire and cable insulations
  • Cryogenic applications
  • Valves, seats seals
  • Electrical component insulators, clamps
