PVDF

Overview

PVDF is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic categorised as a high-performance product. It is high in purity and offers very good weldability. With resistance to chemicals and the most demanding weather conditions, PVDF is a material ideal for various applications. Good electrical insulating properties, as well as high continuous service temperature and outstanding thermoformability are qualities highly sought after in both the engineering and electrical industries. Further properties include high cold impact strength and high tensile strength and stiffness.

Typical areas of application include:

  • Chemical engineering and tank building
  • Clean room and semi-conductor industry
  • Electrical industry
  • Food processing industry
